The Oceanfront Cottage consists of a small 600 sq. ft. addition to create spaces that are integrated with the landscape. This addition added a master suite, a deck overlooking the ocean, as well as a small sauna room at the garden level to an existing oceanfront camp. The compact site and existing structure called for creative solutions in order to create elegantly designed spaces. Despite these constraints, the project transformed a dated oceanfront camp into a year round residence that is in tune with its surroundings.
